Princess Eugenie is no stranger to designer heels. She wore Valentino Rockstuds to the wedding of her cousin Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May, and has been spotted in the same Aquazurra ‘Matilde’ pumps that Meghan wore for her engagement photos.

But when she marries Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel in Windsor later this month, it’s unlikely that either of the Italian brands will be behind Eugenie’s shoes.

The royal bride-to-be revealed in a recent interview that the designer of her dress is based in the UK. "I'm not telling anyone who is making it, but I can say it is a British-based designer," she said. With that in mind, it’s likely she’ll represent British talent in her footwear too.

The top contender is Jimmy Choo, which is based in the UK, though it was acquired by U.S. based Michael Kors in November last year. Eugenie wears the brand regularly, most notably for her engagement photos, and has even attended events hosted by the brand.

Manolo Blahnik is another possibility. Eugenie wore the London-based designer’s shoes in a shoot for BAZAAR’s September 2016 issue, and Blahnik is the OG of high-end heels, with loads of aisle-worthy options.

Rupert Sanderson is another British brand Eugenie has worn on a number of occasions over the past few years, including the Queen’s 92nd birthday concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall in April.

Of course, there’s always the possibility that Eugenie’s shoes will be made by the designer of her dress, as was the case with both Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, who teamed her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown with McQueen pumps, and Meghan, whose Givenchy by Clare Waight Keller dress was worn with Givenchy pumps.

Erdem was the favorite to design Eugenie’s wedding dress, until representatives from the brand confirmed to BAZAAR.com that the brand was not behind the princess's gown. A tough pill to swallow, considering the Canadian-born designer, who is half-Turkish, half-English, offers footwear in the same floral prints as his dresses in silhouettes influenced by Victoriana.

Whoever the designer of Eugenie's bridal shoes, they will probably be bespoke, designed to coordinate perfectly with her dress, and if previous royal weddings are any indication, they will be simple white pumps.
